About Us

💕 Hi! my name is Bonnie, and I am a wife to an amazing husband, a mom to 4 beautiful children, 5 bunnies, 6 chickens, 3 dogs, and a partridge in a pear tree! Just kidding about the partridge...and the pear tree, but that would be pretty cool! We tried to have a lemon tree, but that didn't work out too well.  😂  We homeschooled all of our kids at one time or another, and now as they are growing older and some are going of to college, jobs, etc., we are still homeschooling our youngest son. I have personally observed, after homeschooling four kids, that everyone learns differently. I have always enjoyed teaching by way of play. Who doesn't? =). We celebrate everyone's God-given gifts and their learning styles!

👉 There are four main learning styles/preferences: reading/writing, auditory, kinesthetic, and visual. I am most curious about the kinesthetic/hands-on learning style. So much retention and understanding go hand in hand (no pun intended), with using your hands and your whole body to feel and understand the world around us! I will support and share ways to encourage and nurture hands-on learning!

⏰ I also know that time goes by way to fast, especially with having a busy family.  I support the growing and nurturing of the parent/child relationship. It is so important to take time to thoroughly engage with your child and watch them grow. Whether it is sitting at the kitchen table working on a coloring page together, or sharing a healthy snack, or taking time to play a 15 minute game, these small acts of love add up to a lifetime of memories and support the growing child!
